"But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield."
Life can be hard. But those of us who love the Lord can look back over our lives and see the hand of God at work, turning what seemed at first to be a bad situation around to our favor, working all things together for good (Rom. 8:28). This is the favor that we receive from the Lord. He treats us so much better than we could ever expect or deserve.
Don't just look for God's favor in material or worldly "things." God's favor can also be found in intangible things, such as a peaceful home and a loving marriage. What a gracious God we serve.
In this short video, Pastor John Hagee tells us what to expect in life when we are walking in the favor of God.
Lord, thank you for surrounding me with Your favor. Thank You for opening doors for me, for fighting my battles, for Your amazing timing, and for the people You have brought into my life to pray, help, and encourage me in my walk with You.
